FROM ACCESS TO EVERYDAY USE
A subscription opens the tool. Practical training helps your team choose the task, shape the instructions and judge the result.
01 / DIRECTION
Find a useful starting point.
Choose a real task and define a clear output, rather than asking everyone to experiment without a brief.
02 / PRACTICE
Build a repeatable method.
Work through prompts, source material and review steps that fit the team’s day-to-day responsibilities.
03 / JUDGEMENT
Know what needs checking.
Check facts, permissions and limitations before sharing an answer or connecting an automated process.
THE PROGRAMMES
Choose the skill.
Build the capability.
Start with one focused need or discuss a learning path across the three core tracks. All five Academy programmes are available now; scope, dates and fees are agreed before booking.
01 / AI FOUNDATIONS
Build confident everyday users.
For beginners and teams that need a shared starting point. Practise clearer instructions, useful outputs and factual checks.
02 / AI WORKFLOWS
Turn a task into a method.
For people already using AI who want a process they can repeat. Map the inputs, drafting steps, reviews and handover.
03 / AI AUTOMATION
Design thoughtful automation.
For teams exploring connected processes. Assess the task, identify permissions and design human checks and recovery steps.
FOR TEAMS
A shared plan for your people.
Combine the relevant skills into a programme for a team, with agreed exercises and review criteria.
PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS
One task. Focused practice.
Work through a defined challenge together and leave with an exercise and a method you can revisit.
HOW THE TRAINING TAKES SHAPE
Your team.
Your tasks. Your starting point.
Your tools
Agree the tools and accounts your participants can use. Exercises respect the access and data boundaries you set.
Your work
Choose relevant examples and workflows before the session. Keep confidential material out of public enquiries and use suitable practice inputs.
Your experience
Begin with the team’s current confidence and responsibilities. Set the depth and pace around the skills they need next.
A practical business perspective.
WHY SEARCHSCALE
SearchScale Coaching was founded by Chris Matthews, an entrepreneur and SEO practitioner since 2011. The Academy brings that business perspective to AI learning: start with the task, make the method clear and check what the result means.

EXPLORE BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE
Explore practical guides and fictional exercises before choosing your programme. The examples show the inputs, prompts and checks you can practise.
AI resource workbench
Free on-page guides for clearer briefs, factual checking and workflow planning.
A worked practice example
Try the fictional brief below and inspect the result using a concrete checklist.
The method matters as much as the output.
A VISUAL PRACTICE MAP
Use this four-stage map to organise the exercises on this page. It describes a learning method, rather than a deployed system or client result.
Fictional bookshop announcement
Illustrative input: A bookshop is planning a beginner-friendly poetry reading in its reading room. The date and ticket price are not yet set.
Try this instruction: “Draft a short announcement using only these facts. Keep the tone welcoming. List missing booking details separately; do not fill them with guesses.”
What to check: A useful draft names the activity and audience, avoids a fabricated date or price, and gives the reviewer a clear list of questions.
01 / CLARIFY
Choose the task
Describe the problem and the result you need.
02 / FOUNDATIONS
Give a better brief
Practise clear instructions and source checks.
03 / WORKFLOWS
Make it repeatable
Connect preparation, drafting, review and approval.
04 / AUTOMATION
Assess the next step
Explore automation only when the process and exceptions are understood.
CLARIFY → FOUNDATIONS → WORKFLOWS → AUTOMATION
QUESTIONS & SCOPE
Make an informed choice.
Where should I start if I am new to AI?
Foundations is the natural starting point for everyday AI assistance. Describe what you want to do so the introductory scope can be discussed.
Can I combine learning paths?
A task may involve several skills. Explain your goal and experience so a suitable scope can be agreed rather than assuming every programme is needed.
Are the example outputs guaranteed?
No. They illustrate exercises and useful learning artefacts. The actual programme content and arrangements are agreed before booking.
Make your first enquiry useful.
Share the points below in your enquiry. SearchScale will discuss suitability and the programme scope before you commit. Dates, format, fees and required accounts are confirmed directly.
- The task you want to improve
- Your current experience with AI
- Individual or team participation
- The learning path that interests you
- Any accessibility or practical requirements
Practical experience. Transparent learning.
SearchScale Coaching is founded by Chris Matthews, an entrepreneur and SEO practitioner since 2011. The Academy applies a practical business perspective: start with a real task, understand the method and check the result. Explore our approach and the separate Business Builder programme for more about SearchScale’s wider work.
Make the reasoning visible
A useful AI exercise shows the starting material, the prompt, the result and the checks. Try a fictional service enquiry: ask for a reply using only the supplied facts, then compare every statement against those facts. Remove invented prices, dates or promises. The learning outcome is a repeatable checking process, rather than a polished answer that nobody can explain.
Illustrative learning example. These exercises use fictional inputs. They are not client case studies, measured business results or a promise of a particular outcome.
Learn from original sources
Tool behaviour changes. Read the current documentation alongside any exercise: OpenAI’s prompt engineering guide and Anthropic’s prompting documentation. These are independent reference sources; linking to them does not imply endorsement, certification or partnership.
Quality checks that matter
Check factual claims against their source. Keep confidential information out of practice exercises. Identify missing inputs instead of filling them with guesses. Retain a human decision before publishing, sending or acting on an output. For an automated process, define permissions, failure handling and a way to stop it.
A clear scope before you commit
All five Academy programmes are available now. Before booking, agree the audience, starting level, learning goals, delivery format, included resources, dates and fees with SearchScale. Confirm any required tool accounts or separate subscriptions. The examples on this page explain the practical focus; your agreed programme scope determines the exercises and deliverables.
Have a question or spotted an error? Contact SearchScale with the page and the point you would like clarified. This Academy content was updated on 2 October 2026. The guides use AI-assisted drafting, original fictional exercises and linked primary documentation. Illustrations show the learning method; they do not document client results. Report a factual correction through the contact link above.
